I'm Christine Parent, and I'm excited about the 2009-2010 year at Lake Carolina!  I grew up going to Richland Two schools and graduated from Spring Valley High School.  I earned a degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University.  While I was teaching, I earned my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from  The University of South Carolina.  I taught at Rice Creek Elementary and moved to Lake Carolina the year we opened.  This is my 15th year of teaching.  I've also taught 4th grade, but my favorite grade to teach is 3rd grade!  I enjoy going to spinning classes, reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. I'm looking forward to a productive and successful year with my class!
