About Ms. Adams
I am thrilled
to be teaching fourth grade at Lake Carolina Elementary School. I graduated
Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Elementary
Education. While attending the University of South Carolina I served on the
scholar’s board for the James F. Byrnes Foundation which offers scholarships
to children in South Carolina who have lost one or both parents. I also worked
at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden where I was able to teach students and provide
unique hands-on experiences.
I grew up in Florence,
South Carolina and I have one brother who still resides there. Some of my
favorite activities are curling up with a good book, seeing a great movie,
shopping, spending time with family and friends, or playing with my newly
adopted kitten Lily. I am looking forward to an extraordinary year in fourth
grade and I can’t wait for our class to set sail on our journey of discovery.
