All About Mrs. Laney

     Welcome to Second Grade!  My name is Mrs. Laney.  I began my teaching career twelve years ago after graduating from the University of South Carolina with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Elementary Education.  During those twelve years, I have taught both second and third grades.  After being in second grade for eight years, I have realized this is my favorite grade and age to teach.  
     I have been married for five years to my husband Art, and we have a baby boy, David, who turned a year old in June.   When I am not teaching I enjoy shopping, playing tennis, and mostly spending time with family and friends.
