Welcome to Gator Guidance!
Meet Mrs. Talbert
I am so excited to be back again with our students and families! This will be my eighth year as a member of Team LCE. I moved to the Columbia area in 1999. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Francis Marion College. I received my Master's from USC in Elementary School Counseling. I have worked with school age children and families for over eighteen years. I have worked with our Kindergarten, First and Second Grade little Gators the past four years! They are precious and keep me smiling and young at heart!
I visit each classroom twice a month to teach and reinforce our lifeskills and lifelong guidelines. The lessons focus on the lifeskills for the month as outlined in our school calendar. I also enjoy using puppets, songs , and role play with the students! I have a Gator helper, " Gabby " who visits the classes with me and helps choose a Great Guidance Gator for each class. I always ask students to take home and share with parents any written activities completed during our lessons. Please ask your child about our guidance lessons and to share their lifeskills with you!
