Uniform Policy

Uniform Policy
Lake Carolina is a “Uniform” school. Uniforms will be navy or khaki bottoms and the “4” Tops (hunter green, navy, burgundy, white). Pants, shorts, skirts, jumpers, or scooters, all at appropriate lengths, may be worn in navy or khaki. Polo shirts, blouses, turtlenecks, and shirts with round neck bands may be worn. Shirts should be plain or solid colors (4 Tops) and should not have any type of logo on them except for the Lake Carolina logo wear (t-shirts or sweatshirts).
Shirts/blouses are required to be tucked in at all times. Shoes should be worn with safety in mind. Students should not wear platform shoes or shoes with cleats.
Belts may be brown or black. A “Non-Uniform Day” will be held every Friday. Students are expected to be in uniform dress for all participation on the LCE Morning Show.
There are specific occasions (Veterans Day Ceremony, distinguished guests on campus) when the entire student body will be asked to dress in uniform dress. An atmosphere where ALL children achieve academic success is our goal!
LCE is a uniform school. Most of our students regularly comply with the uniform policy. Wearing school uniforms has been shown to cultivate an atmosphere of community and teamwork. The benefits of school uniforms contribute to a quality learning environment for all students and put the focus on learning and academic success. Just as in team sports, uniforms in school will help all of our students see themselves as member of our winning team!
